Introducing…River Song Blooms!

I am excited to share with you my new business endeavor, River Song Blooms. I’ve grown cut flowers along side my vegetables for several years now. It’s largely been for personal enjoyment and to share with friends and family, within that time I also did a small wedding for a friend and that’s what really got me thinking. I could do this as business! To grow the flowers from seed or tuber to beautiful bloom and then to create beautiful floral pieces fills me with a sense of purpose, a connection to the natural cycles of the seasons and my creative need to create.

River Song Blooms will start with a weekly bouquet subscription in mid summer. This is generally my slower time with JC Pruning and Gardening, which will allow me to keep both businesses going strong. I will also offer flowers for small weddings and events. One of my main crops is dahlias, but you will find many other stunning specialty flowers in all the designs. I am committed to the same ethos I run JC Pruning and Gardening with, sustainability, low waste, and an emphasis to support ecological functions in the landscape.
